Fractal Networking and Ecosystems Development Expert

[no company affiliation]

Andy builds technology partner ecosystems from the ground up, enabling the raw potential of a compelling product or technology to grow from something standalone and very basic into a rich and strong ecosystem of partnerships.

After launching Android Enterprise in 2014 and bootstrapping device management, ruggedized and dedicated device partner ecosystems from scratch within Google's Android team, Andy is preparing to embark on a new ecosystem bootstrapping challenge around fractal networking.

Andy's career journey includes both small, scrappy startups (Divide, acquired by Google 2014; NEON, acquired by Sybase 2001, now SAP) and large, well-known multinationals (Avaya, Raytheon, LG, and Google).

Andy has developed Internet standards at the IETF and W3C, invented 11 patents on security, presence and availability technologies, and created open-source, cross-platform mobile identity solutions like AppAuth.

Andy holds a BS in Mathematics from Brigham Young University, is fluent in Spanish (and is now working on his Russian).
